Adult Ministries (Overview)

Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength. The second is this: Love your neighbor as yourself. There is no commandment greater than these. Mark 12:30-31

Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age. Matthew 28:19-20

The adult ministries at Clear Fork Alliance are designed to fulfill the Great Commandments and the Great Commission.

Church Library

Our librarian works hard to keep our library attractive and user friendly. She regularly displays new additions to the library. Currently featured is, among others, Finding Home: An Imperfect Path to Faith and Family by Jim Daly. The book is the story of Jim’s life as an orphan and how by God’s grace he overcame many adversities and is today the CEO of Dr. James’ Dobson’s Focus on the Family.

Coming soon to the Church Library Shelves:
Want your kids to read this summer? Try this new series, “The Incredible Worlds of Wally McDoogle”, written by Bill Myers, author and co-creator of “McGee and Me”. Witty and wacky…perfect for summer reading…this fiction series will keep your kids reading, as well as, learning important truths about God.

Experience Bethlehem

Experience Bethlehem is the interactive Christmas celebration produced by Clear Fork Alliance Church. With over 700 visitors last year, Experience Bethlehem is truly a unique way to enhance anyone’s celebration of Christ’s birth.

Visitors begin by viewing a walk through drama of the events surrounding Jesus’ birth. Angels, shepherds, wise men, King Herod, Mary & Joseph, and of course the baby Jesus all come to life as visitors walk from scene to scene while a tour guide explains the Biblical events.

Visitors are then taken to the recreated village of Bethlehem with shops, Roman guards, and a stable with a special manger to see what life was like in Jesus’ day. Visitors are given coins to spend at the various shops, but watch out…Roman guards looking to collect taxes for Caesar may confiscate your coins if you are not careful!

Don’t miss Experience Bethlehem!

Admission: FREE! Experience Bethlehem is handicap accessible and completely indoors.

Music

Our approach to Worship at Clear Fork Alliance involves “Blended” music. We regularly use both a traditional choir and a Praise Team accompanied by guitars and an electric keyboard. Individuals with vocal and instrumental skills are encouraged to use their abilities in our music ministries including solos and ensembles.

Prayer

At Clear Fork Alliance Church, we believe in prayer. There are many ways to be involved in our prayer ministries.

Prayer Meeting occurs on Wednesday at 6:00PM. This is a gathering of people who pray about any need on our church prayer list. If you have a need that you would like us to pray about, please call the church office or submit your request on our Contact page.

Standing In The Gap involves two or more individuals meeting in Pastor Mike’s study to pray during the Sunday morning worship service. The focus during this time of prayer is for God to move in the hearts of those attending the worship service and for the Holy Spirit to speak through the message being preached.

The Prayer Chain is a way to get urgent prayer needs to people who will immediately pray. We use both email and telephone to spread these prayer needs. If you have an urgent prayer request, please send an email to office@clearforkalliance.org

Epaphras Intercessors motto is “Praying for every family, every day.” Epaphras was a New Testament Christian who was “…always earnestly praying for you…” (Colossians 4:12). Epaphras involves more than 40 individuals from the church who pray for approximately 15-20 family units each day. The intercessors pray for different families alphabetically starting on various days at various parts of the alphabet. The end result is that every family at Clear Fork Alliance Church is being prayed for every day.

The Aaron & Hur prayer team is a new ministry at Clear Fork Alliance and is designed to specifically lift up our pastors in prayer. Pastor Mike meets for prayer with the Aaron & Hur Prayer Team prior to each worship service and communicates personal prayer requests with the team members via emails.
