MISSIONARY BIOS
Jessica Schaeffer grew up in Middleburg Heights, Ohio with 8 sisters and brothers. Numerous times throughout her childhood and youth, God spoke to her through missionary speakers and at summer camp and she committed her life to serving overseas if that was what God asked of her. She pursued nursing in college thinking that was a practical way to serve people where ever God led her. She began her nursing career in a brand new ICU, then after reading “On Call” by Dr. David Thompson she knew God was calling her to overseas service. Her first two years she spent learning two languages, French and Bambara. The last two years she has been in Koutiala, Mali, West Africa where she is a nurse at Koutiala’s Women and Children’s Hospital. Her responsibilities have been the supervisor for the Operating room, supervisor for inpatient nursing, training new nurses and anesthesia. Jessica’s life verse is Isaiah 58:10-11.
J.B. Hecock grew up in New London, Ohio and accepted the Lord in youth group. Through a series of events throughout high school and early years of college, J.B. felt a God’s call on his life to overseas ministry. While a sophomore at Toccoa Falls College, Georgia he met his soon to be wife, Iris. After their home service at Bellevue Alliance Church in Bellevue, Ohio, they were appointed to the field of Russia. They spent the next 2 years learning Russian in Krasnodor, Russia. They were then assigned to Yekaterinburg. There they established an English Café. College students and young professionals come to practice their English and learn about different aspects of American culture. God blessed their ministry as they were able to form a Ladies group, a Life group and an Action group along with holding Summer English camps. The Hecocks have two sons and a baby girl due in November.

"They will be My people, and I will be their God." Jeremiah 24:7. Clear Fork Alliance Church is the Christian and Missionary Alliance Church in Bellville, Ohio. Our vision is to be a 24/7 church: one that is defined by our people rather than our building, and be known for our loving relationships rather than the time which we meet.
